beixo -This brand of chainless bicycles is a great example of our philosophy: traditional folding bikes are chain driven but lack a chain protector. That's not exactly convenient, because specially with a folding bike you are more in contact with the bike and get dirty folding it. That's why we came up with the brand beixo. beixo stands for shaft driven folding bikes. This shaft drive, a completely closed system, is the only way to create a truly clean bike with no grease. The two models (compact and slim) find their customers all over Europe and beyond.

Colorbike - Colorbike stands for fair trade. The idea is simple: For each Colorbike we sell, we provide a bike to a child in a developing country. To help him or her to go to school. In this project Urban Bike Concepts cooperates with small NGO's. We provide bikes to projects in Nicaragua, Bolivia, Madagascar and Vietnam.  At the moment, Colorbike is only available in The Netherlands and Belgium.

gsusbike - Together with the Dutch clothing brand gsus sindustries we introduced a new bike type to the western world: the gsusbike. It's inspired on the bikes riding around in the Japanese city jungles of Tokyo and Osaka. Neither gsus nor we really understand why it wasn't introduced here before, but we are proud to have developed our own twisted version of this Japanese little monster, of course powered by beixo shaft drive technology. The gsusbike is available since April 2008, in a limited, numbered edition.
